Herrenknecht France - Interim Management

Herrenknecht France is a subsidiary of the German group Herrenknecht, specialist and world leader in the manufacture of tunnel boring machines.
With the launch of the Grand Paris Express projects in particular, the French subsidiary, created in 1998, saw its activity multiply by 10 in 2017.

Following the departure of a key member of staff in the financial organisation, the General Management wanted to carry out three projects:

1. Auditing the organisation of financial and project monitoring processes to optimise operation
2. Take over the management control function to restructure and formalise the financial processes and tools Budgeting, project monitoring, expense account management, etc.
3. Assist in recruitment and to raise the competence of the profile

• Step 1: Risk management audit and associated recommendations with implementation of a detailed action plan
• Step 2: Setting up a monthly and annual closing schedule with all tasks, interface, back-up,...
• Step 3: Flattening of document management, including the contract database, to facilitate budget construction,
• Step 4: Formalization of key processes to keep the company's memory and cover the "key man" risk
• Step 5: Implementation of tools adapted to the level of internal digital maturity
• Step 6: Identification of additional levers for time management and the payroll process (additional assignment)
